Job summary

bet365 Group is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design and implement network automation, build IaC templates, and drive scalable infrastructure initiatives. You will collaborate across teams to enable automation, reduce manual effort, and support BAU operations with a resilient, vendor-agnostic framework.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
• Familiarity with load balancing, caching, and cloud services.
• Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and Git.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with change and version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing network automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Developing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates to ensure consistent network configurations.
• Collaborating with teams to identify automation opportunities and translate complex requirements into scalable processes.
• Overseeing the lifecycle of automation projects from conception through to deployment and support.
• Conducting pre-release and post-release testing to identify and mitigate potential issues.
• Building and maintaining an automation framework that supports self-service capabilities for internal customers.
• Documenting automation processes and maintain version control to ensure a reliable infrastructure.
• Researching emerging technologies in network automation to propose initiatives that enhance our capabilities.
