Job summary

bet365 is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to architect and deliver automated, scalable infrastructure solutions. You will blend infrastructure, network engineering and software development to drive efficiency, reliability and AI-enabled automation across our global platforms.

This role sits within a team delivering reusable services, governance and orchestration across multiple environments. It requires leadership in automation, IaC, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Expertise in network and security technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewall).
• Experience with content delivery technologies, load balancing and cloud-based services.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with automation and tooling platforms such as Ansible, Jenkins, and Git.
• Proven ability to manage change and version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation to reduce manual effort and boost efficiency.
• Develop and manage IaC templates for consistent network configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable automation.
• Oversee full lifecycle of automation projects from conception to deployment.
• Conduct pre-release and post-release testing for reliability.
• Build and maintain an automation framework supporting self-service capabilities.
• Document automation processes and maintain version control.
• Research emerging technologies to enhance automation capabilities.
• Maintain coding standards across the automation space.
• Perform QA on prospective code to ensure best practices.
