Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Luton is seeking an Industrial Placement Systems Engineer to help design and develop EW technology for RAF and Army aircraft. You will work across avionic systems and platforms, gaining exposure to requirements, architectures and tests.

You will collaborate with engineers across disciplines and contribute to lifecycle activities from concept to integration, while developing practical engineering skills in a world-class environment.

Qualifications

• Currently studying for a degree in a relevant discipline at undergraduate level.
• Solid maths understanding and basic electronics knowledge.
• Experience with engineering development tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop systems engineering concepts for EW capability across platforms.
• Understand customer requirements and contribute to architecture and designs.
• Collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines to solve problems.
• Contribute to integration and testing of equipment and systems.
• Follow processes to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes.
