Leonardo UK Ltd is offering an industrial placement for Electronics Engineers in the Basildon area. You will work on electro‑optical and communications systems under the guidance of senior engineers, contributing to the full development lifecycle from requirements to product support.

You will gain hands‑on experience in design, testing and verification while collaborating with mechanical, software and systems teams.

Qualifications

• Currently studying an electronics biased degree with modules in digital/analogue design and signal processing.
• Experience with PCB design and simulation tools is desirable.
• Industrial placement year with Leonardo programs an opportunity to learn across disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Support design and development of electro‑optical, communications and information system products.
• Learn requirements analysis, design, test, verification and product support.
• Interface with internal and external customers and engineers across disciplines.
