Leonardo UK Ltd in Basildon invites you to join a year-long Industrial Placement as an Electronics Engineer, working on world-leading electro-optical, communications and information system products under the guidance of experienced leads.

You will gain hands-on experience across requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and product support, with opportunities to collaborate with Mechanical, Software and Systems teams and to pursue future graduate opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently studying electronics with modules in digital and analogue design.
• Experience with PCB design and simulation is desirable.
• Willing to undergo BPSS/National Security Vetting (NSV) as part of this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electro-optical, communications and information system products.
• Utilise state-of-the-art methods, technology and tools across the development lifecycle.
• Interface with customers and collaborate with Mechanical, Software, Systems and Design teams.
• Contribute to design, verification and product support activities.
