Job summary

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking an ICT professional to join our forward‑looking ICT Team. You will take ownership of a portfolio of related systems, ensuring they are secure, effective, and aligned to user requirements, procurement and contract management, and service levels.

Working with our Service Colleagues and suppliers, you will help resolve issues, deliver change, and ensure staff are trained in system operation.

Qualifications

Experience supporting, administering, developing or managing ICT systems and services would be beneficial.
Experience with procurement and contract management is advantageous.
Familiarity with incident and problem management and system configuration is desirable.

Responsibilities

Own a portfolio of related ICT Systems and ensure they remain secure, effective and aligned to requirements and SLAs.
Ensure systems are correctly procured and supplier contracts are well managed.
Work with users and suppliers to resolve issues and deliver change.
Create and maintain user guides and procedures; train staff on system operation.
Contribute to key system delivery projects within the Service.
