Job summary

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking an ICT System Manager to lead a portfolio of critical ICT systems, ensuring they are secure, efficient and aligned with user needs.

You will work with the System Management Team to procure systems, manage supplier contracts, and ensure service levels and value for money. You will also contribute to change projects, update user guides and provide staff training.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting, administering, developing or managing ICT systems and services.
• Exposure to system administration, procurement and contract management.
• Experience in user training, change management, system configuration, incident and problem management.
• Strong transferable skills, willingness to learn and potential to excel in ICT career.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of ICT systems and ensure security, effectiveness and value for money.
• Procure systems and manage supplier contracts with SLAs.
• Work with users and suppliers to ensure resilience and delivery of service levels.
• Contribute to key system delivery projects and ensure up-to-date user guides and training.
