WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Fluvial Geomorphologist / Hydromorphologist to join the Catchment Science team. You will deliver fluvial geomorphology and WFD assessments across a varied client base, mentor junior staff, and help shape the growth of our hydromorphology service.

Based in the UK with hybrid working, you will collaborate across disciplines on river restoration, NbS, BNG, and major linear projects, while pursuing chartership with support from WSP.

Formación

• Degree (BSc or MSc) in environmental science or geography.
• Experience in fluvial geomorphology, WFD assessments, and natural flood management (NFM).
• Ability to lead large projects, manage subcontractors, and coordinate dispersed survey teams.
• Full membership of CIWEM, CIEEM or RGS and chartership pursued with company support.

Responsabilidades

• Undertaking fluvial geomorphology and WFD assessments for a diverse project portfolio.
• Leading on proposal writing and contributing to training materials for fluvial geomorphology and watercourse BNG.
• Developing river BNG assessments and enhancements to achieve 10% net gain.
• Producing high quality reports and managing scheduling and budgets.
