WSP in the UK & Ireland seeks a Fluvial Geomorphologist to join the Catchment Science team in Leeds. You will apply your expertise in fluvial geomorphology, WFD, NbS and BNG to river projects and support growth in Hydromorphology.

You will mentor colleagues, develop proposals, and deliver high-quality reports while working across multidisciplinary teams and contributing to innovative watercourse improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental science or geography (BSc/MSc) required.
• Experience in fluvial geomorphology and WFD assessments.
• Project management including subcontractors and associates.
• CIWEM/CIEEM/RGS membership preferred; chartership support available.

Responsabilités

• Undertake fluvial geomorphology and WFD assessments for diverse projects.
• Develop and deliver internal training material for fluvial geomorphology and watercourse BNG.
• Lead on and assist in writing proposals for clients.
• Undertake watercourse BNG assessments and develop enhancements to achieve 10% net gain.
• Produce high-quality reports and manage scheduling and budgets.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to business development for hydromorphology.
