Job summary

Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm in Montrose seeks a High Voltage Electrical Engineer to safeguard the technical integrity and safe operation of HV electrical systems during the O&M phase. You will oversee offshore and onshore HV interfaces, protection, control, and safety documentation, ensuring availability and value optimization.

The role focuses on HV safety governance, fault diagnosis, maintenance strategy, and collaboration with contractors, OEMs, and control room teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in offshore wind, utilities, or HV environments.
• Knowledge of HV protection, switchgear, cables and control systems.
• Authorised Person capability or progression plan.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV asset integrity for offshore wind operations.
• Develop maintenance strategies for HV assets.
• Provide technical oversight to Authorised Persons and contractors.
• Support outages, campaigns, and offshore interventions.
• Improve electrical reliability and risk management.
