Job summary

Masdar seeks a highly skilled Electrical Engineering professional to join the Offshore Operations Engineering – Electrical team as a Masdar secondee embedded in an operating asset. The role operates on a hybrid basis with 3 days per week in the Lowestoft office and offshore visits as required.

Based at site, you will support asset integrity, performance, and lifecycle decisions across HVDC and HVAC systems, coordinating with the JV partner and Masdar Asset Performance teams to maximise

Qualifications

• Relevant Degree Qualification (Electrical Engineering) or Level 3 NVQ/Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide Operational Assets with high quality technical expertise and knowledge.
• Lead the operational readiness of new wind farm assets and ensure risks during operation are minimised.
• Provide strategic advice across the full project life cycle from development through decommissioning.
• Evaluate designs from an operational perspective to embed O&M requirements and present mitigation options.
• Develop asset management processes and share information with stakeholders.
• Support site and back office activities to optimise outage strategies for maintenance and repair.
