Job summary

Gateley is seeking an HR Advisor to join the Birmingham Head Office on a 12‑month fixed-term contract, with hybrid working options. You will deliver a full generalist HR service to employees across the Corporate and Business Services Platforms.

The role reports to the Senior HR Business Partner and supports the HR team in governance, employee relations, and policy maintenance. A proactive, confidential approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in an HR Advisor role.
• CIPD qualification at Level 5 or higher (level 7 advantageous).
• Demonstrable employee relations experience.
• Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Support HR Partners and wider HR team to deliver a full generalist service.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to understand priorities and recruitment needs.
• Cover recruitment processes alongside the Recruitment Team.
• Conduct 6-week reviews and exit interviews.
• Support pay reviews, check-ins, and family leave processes.
