Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the team in Weston-Super-Mare.

You will provide proactive HR support to managers, handling employee relations, absence management, and policy compliance while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced site operation. You will partner with managers to drive engagement, performance, and wellbeing, delivering a hybrid service with three days in the office and two remotely.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an HR Advisor role with strong employee relations experience.
• Experience handling absence management, disciplinary, grievance, probation, flexible working and family leave policies.
• CIPD Level 3 qualified or currently studying towards this.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, probation, flexible working, and family leave policies.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across the operation, influencing and coaching managers to adopt best‑practice people management approaches.
• Support recruitment activities, talent management initiatives, succession planning, performance reviews, and employee engagement programmes.
• Manage HR casework from start to finish, ensuring all processes are compliant with company policies, employment legislation, and Trade Union agreements.
• Produce and analyse HR data and management information, supporting the HR Manager in delivering site people plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
