Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd is recruiting an experienced HR Advisor to join a large established business in West Yorkshire for a 12‑month period. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will support a broad range of HR activities and drive the HR agenda across the region.

The role requires solid knowledge of UK employment law, generalist HR experience, strong stakeholder management, and excellent communication. CIPD Level 5 or working towards is preferred, with strong IT skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint,

Qualifications

• Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards.
• Proven experience of working as generalist HR Advisor, ideally gained in a commercial fast paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Strong experience of building relationships and managing stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate and engage with employees at all levels.
• Ability to use own initiative and good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong IT skills - MS Office, including outlook, excel, powerpoint, word.
• Accurate and timely delivery of tasks coupled with excellent organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees across regions on HR policies, practices and procedures.
• Monitor employee absenteeism and report monthly; address issues promptly.
• Maintain employee records via the HRIS system.
• Resolve queries and log when appropriate.
• Suggest areas for improvement and support life cycle for new starters and leavers.
• Maintain records for pension, sickness, holiday, payroll, recruitment, etc.
• Support recruitment processes as required.
• Advice on disciplinary, absence, grievance and redundancy meetings.
• Support HR Director and team on people plan and HR projects.
