Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a Global VAT E-Invoicing Manager to lead advisory engagements across jurisdictions, focusing on e-invoicing mandates and digital reporting. You will combine technical credibility with client-facing skills to deliver practical, compliant solutions.

You will work with international teams, technology providers and clients to shape engagements from scoping through go-live, while identifying opportunities to expand services within VAT technology and digital reporting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable expertise in e-invoicing and digital reporting within VAT or tax technology.
• Experience advising clients on regulatory change, implementation projects or compliance.
• Strong understanding of data flows and XML/delimited formats and system integrations.
• Experience with third-party e-invoicing solutions and providers.
• Experience in professional services with client-facing advisory.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on global e-invoicing and digital reporting requirements, translating regulation into practical implications.
• Act as the primary client contact for e-invoicing mandates and solution feasibility.
• Lead workshops, readiness assessments, gap analyses and solution design activities.
• Develop trusted client relationships and provide clear, pragmatic advice.
• Oversee scoping, requirements gathering, design, testing and go-live for engagements.
• Coordinate with technical specialists and partners to support implementations.
• Identify delivery risks and help drive resolution; contribute to QA and risk management.
• Support business development and proposal development within e-invoicing.
