Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a Global VAT E-Invoicing Manager to lead advisory work on e-invoicing and digital reporting across jurisdictions. You will own client engagements, coordinate with international teams and drive business development in a fast-growing VAT practice.

You will combine technical credibility with strong client-facing skills, balancing regulatory detail with commercial outcomes and leading workshops and solution design efforts.

Qualifications

• Expertise in e-invoicing, digital reporting and tax technology is required.
• Able to advise clients on e-invoicing requirements and regulatory change.
• Understands data flows and formats such as XML and delimited files.
• Experience with third-party e-invoicing solutions and major providers.
• Background in professional services or client-facing advisory is preferred.
• Experience supporting business development, proposals and scoping engagements.
• Able to coordinate multidisciplinary or international teams.
• VAT/indirect tax or finance background is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on global e-invoicing and digital reporting requirements.
• Be the primary client contact for e-invoicing mandates and implementation.
• Lead client workshops, readiness assessments, gap analyses and design activities.
• Build trusted relationships and provide pragmatic advice.
• Take ownership of scoping, requirements, design, testing and go-live.
• Coordinate with technical specialists, PMs and providers to support delivery.
• Identify risks early and drive resolution.
• Contribute to QA, risk management and continuous improvement.
• Interface between clients, internal teams and e-invoicing providers.
• Develop relationships with technology partners and understand their capabilities.
• Contribute to identifying and winning new opportunities in e-invoicing.
