Job summary

RSM UK is seeking an Associate Director to lead global VAT compliance and reporting efforts across the UK, EU, and global markets within the GVCR team. You will own a strategically important function, delivering complex VAT solutions and guiding internal and client-facing guidance.

The role requires strong EU tax technical expertise, excellent communication, and project-management skills in a collaborative, flexible, and fast-growing environment with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Outstanding EU tax technical, research and analysis skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing to diverse audiences.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to manage projects and deliver within short timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Provide policy support and guidance on global VAT compliance and reporting.
• Prepare materials for updates, alerts, and communications across the network.
• Identify business development opportunities from case law and legislation.
• Contribute to external marketing content on GVAT matters.
• Respond to client GVAT technical queries and deliver client work.
