Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a GVRC Compliance Manager to lead VAT compliance engagements across the UK, EU, and beyond. You’ll provide insightful analysis, quality assurance, and exceptional client service, acting as the central contact for clients and overseeing indirect tax filings.

You’ll mentor junior team members and drive improvements in VAT processes and knowledge sharing within the team. You will work in a hybrid environment, supporting RSM’s commitment to excellence and client service.

Qualifications

• Strong VAT compliance skills ideally from a European or global role.
• Passion for VAT process improvement and technology enablement.
• Solid experience in managing and mentoring junior team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Alteryx, and similar tools.
• Excellent relationship management and the ability to handle international projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver VAT compliance services across UK, EU and international markets.
• Provide expert insights on VAT returns and oversee quality of indirect tax filings.
• Be a trusted advisor by understanding clients' VAT needs and opportunities.
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing within the team.
