Job summary

RSM UK is seeking an Associate Director within the Global VAT Compliance & Reporting (GVCR) team to lead complex VAT compliance, e‑invoicing and reporting across the UK, EU and global markets.

You will develop technical policy guidance, produce client‑facing updates, and contribute to business development. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication, strong project management, and collaboration across the RSM network.

Qualifications

• EU tax technical knowledge with the ability to research and analyse
• Excellent written communication for diverse audiences
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Ability to manage projects and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide technical policy support and guidance on GVAT matters
• Prepare and review global VAT compliance and reporting content for client materials
• Contribute to business development through briefs, updates and client communications
• Draft, edit and deliver training materials, modules, webinars and briefings
• Maintain and develop tax knowledge resources, including knowledge base content
• Respond to GVAT technical queries from the wider team and clients
• Attend meetings with government officials and participate in tax practice meetings
