Job summary

RSM UK is seeking an Associate Director to lead the Global VAT Compliance & Reporting (GVCR) function, delivering complex VAT compliance, e-invoicing and reporting across the UK, EU and global markets. You will work at the centre of a fast-evolving tax landscape, partnering with senior stakeholders.

In this high-impact role you will shape policy, develop client materials and support business development while managing projects and mentoring junior staff within a collaborative, diverse team.

Qualifications

• Advanced EU tax technical knowledge and research skills.
• Clear written communication to diverse audiences.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Experience managing tax projects with tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical policy support and guidance.
• Prepare and update global VAT compliance content for client materials.
• Draft briefs and updates for clients and targets.
• Deliver training materials and workshops.
• Contribute to external communications and GVAT responses.
• Support wider team with ad-hoc client work.
