Job summary

Advo Health, part of the Ascenti Group, is hiring a Functional Assessor. This hybrid role involves 60% face-to-face in an assessment centre and 40% home-based work, with no evenings or weekend shifts.

The role supports claimants by conducting assessments for PIP or WCA and preparing evidence-based reports. You must be a registered healthcare professional with at least 12 months post-registration, hold NMC/HCPC/GPhC registration, and be proficient with IT systems.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professionals with at least 12 months post-registration experience.
• Full registration with NMC, HCPC or GPhC.
• Confidence using IT systems and documenting reports.

Responsibilities

• Holding telephone, video or in-person consultations with claimants
• Assessing a wide range of physical and mental health conditions
• Applying clinical reasoning to understand how health impacts daily living
• Using strong IT and written communication skills to listen and produce accurate, evidence-based reports at the same time
• Working closely with your manager to support your development as a Functional Assessor
