Job summary

Howden is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join a hybrid finance team in London or Cheltenham. You will produce robust monthly P&L analysis, partner with senior leaders, and develop insightful BI dashboards to support performance and decision-making.

A strong PowerBI, Excel and data storytelling capability is essential. The role offers a path for study support and leadership development within a collaborative international insurance group.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification is preferred but part-qualified candidates with FP&A/Commercial Finance/Insurance experience will be considered.
• Strong analytical, Excel and communication skills with ability to turn data into insights.
• Experience using large data sets and BI tools (PowerBI or similar).
• Experience in fast-paced growth environments, ideally in insurance brokerage or banking.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality monthly analysis from all P&L parts with commentary.
• Support monthly management reporting and quarterly Group board papers.
• Develop PowerBI dashboards and reports with data team.
• Support annual budget and quarterly forecast processes and investment cases.
