Job summary

RedTech Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Financial Data Analyst to join our Cambridge-based Finance & Operations team. You will turn financial and operational data into actionable insights, building Power BI dashboards and supporting planning, forecasting and KPI tracking.

The role offers hybrid working with probationary remote days, a focus on data governance and automation, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative subject (2:1 or equivalent).
• At least two years of data analytics experience in a finance setting.
• Strong Power BI skills with dashboards/reports.
• Understanding of financial planning, KPIs and metrics.
• Experience cleaning and validating data for reporting.
• Knowledge of data governance and privacy best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to document data sources, transformations and reporting methods.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and People teams to translate needs into analytics.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support decisions.
• Define and monitor KPIs and financial performance measures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling.
• Combine data from ERP systems and APIs for reporting.
• Build reliable data models for consistent reporting.
• Improve data quality, governance and documentation across processes.
• Automate recurring tasks and streamline dashboard delivery.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
