Howden Markets in London is seeking a Data & Insights Analyst to turn complex insurance data into clear insights shaping commercial decisions. You will own analytics, reporting and visualisation for Howden Markets, reporting to Head of Data & Analytics, collaborating with analysts and insurer clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience using Power BI, Power Query and Excel to develop reports and dashboards.
• Hands-on SQL and Databricks experience with data pipelines.
• Minimum two years in the insurance market, London Market preferred.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Experience automating reporting and improving analytics practices.
• Strong English writing and communication skills.

• Deliver high-quality reports, dashboards and analytics with Power BI and Excel.
• Translate complex datasets into clear insights for stakeholders.
• Analyse placement solutions and insurer portfolios to monitor performance.
• Support rollout of Databricks and migration of data pipelines.
• Collaborate with Market Management and Group Placement to identify revenue opportunities.
• Gather requirements and translate into reporting specifications.
• Develop visual tools and reporting approaches for decision-makers.
• Maintain documentation for reports and data processes.
• Build relationships across groups and analytics community.
