Job summary

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance team in London, providing dedicated support to a business unit. The role focuses on financial planning, analysis, and decision-making to optimize profitability.

The position reports to the Divisional Finance Director and is hybrid, based in the London office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of FP&A experience, strong modeling and analysis skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for executives

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting, preferably in a business unit support or FP&A role.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis tools.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence decisions across functions and geographies.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and KPIs to assess performance against budget and forecast.
Analyze product, customer, and market segment profitability to identify revenue growth and margin improvements.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support for strategic initiatives and capital investments.
Monitor and track actual performance against budget, and develop cost control initiatives to drive profitability.
