Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners in Chichester is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager on a maternity cover with a hybrid working pattern. The role leads monthly management reporting and oversees balance sheet reconciliations while ensuring strong financial controls.

The ideal candidate is CIMA/ACCA qualified with IFRS knowledge and experience in ERP systems and Excel. You will supervise a team and coordinate with group finance during the 12-month FTC period.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with CIMA/ACCA designation.
• Experience in financial and management reporting.
• Strong IFRS knowledge is essential.
• Proficient with ERP systems.
• Intermediate level of Excel required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts packs.
• Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled.
• Perform weekly/monthly payroll checks.
• Maintain strong financial controls and assist internal audits.
• Improve, document and standardise financial processes.
• Support the business with financial reporting obligations.
• Maintain fixed asset register and IFRS16 lease reporting.
• Manage intercompany balances and reconciliations with group finance.
