Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager in Chichester for a 12-month maternity cover. The role is hybrid and requires a qualified accountant with strong reporting experience.

You will lead monthly packs, ensure reconciliations, payroll checks, and robust financial controls. The successful candidate will have IFRS knowledge, ERP systems experience, and the ability to improve processes while working with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts packs.

• Support financial reporting obligations for the business unit.
• Maintain fixed asset register and IFRS16 lease reporting.
• Coordinate intercompany reconciliations with group finance.

Are you a qualified accountant looking for your next opportunity in a technical accounting role?

A rare Financial Reporting Manager position has become available in Chichester for a growing business. We are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager who will work alongside the senior management team providing some amazing benefits and a great opportunity for career growth and some senior experience.

What you will be doing:

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts packs on a consistent basis.
• Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled.
• Perform weekly and monthly payroll checks.
• Drive strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal audit requirements.
• Improve, document, and standardise financial processes and procedures.
• Support the business unit in meeting all financial reporting obligations.
• Maintain fixed asset register and IFRS16 lease reporting.
• Manage intercompany balances and transactions reconciliation process, coordinating with group finance and other subsidiaries.

Who are we looking for?

• The candidate for this position must be motivated, confident, pro-active as well able to work well in a team.
• The candidate will be CIMA/ ACCA qualified, have experience in financial and management reporting
• Ability to think flexibly, with strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm to improve processes.
• A good knowledge of IFRS is essential.
• Competent with ERP systems.
• Minimum intermediate level of Excel required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with business and external partners.
• Experience of managing a team, performance review and objective setting.

The role is office based 4 days a week and drops to 2 days in the new year.
