Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners in Chichester is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager on a maternity cover with a hybrid working pattern. The role leads monthly management reporting and oversees balance sheet reconciliations while ensuring strong financial controls.

The ideal candidate is CIMA/ACCA qualified with IFRS knowledge and experience in ERP systems and Excel. You will supervise a team and coordinate with group finance during the 12-month FTC period.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

A rare Financial Reporting Manager position has become available in Chichester for a growing business. We are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager who will work alongside the senior management team providing some amazing benefits and a great opportunity for career growth and some senior experience.

What you will be doing:

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts packs on a consistent basis.
• Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled.
• Perform weekly and monthly payroll checks.
• Drive strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal audit requirements.
• Improve, document, and standardise financial processes and procedures.
• Support the business unit in meeting all financial reporting obligations.
• Maintain fixed asset register and IFRS16 lease reporting.
• Manage intercompany balances and transactions reconciliation process, coordinating with group finance and other subsidiaries.

Who are we looking for?

• The candidate for this position must be motivated, confident, pro-active as well able to work well in a team.
• The candidate will be CIMA/ ACCA qualified, have experience in financial and management reporting
• Ability to think flexibly, with strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm to improve processes.
• A good knowledge of IFRS is essential.
• Competent with ERP systems.
• Minimum intermediate level of Excel required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with business and external partners.
• Experience of managing a team, performance review and objective setting.

The role is office based 4 days a week and drops to 2 days in the new year.
