Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners is partnering with a well-established business in Chichester to recruit a Finance Manager for a 12-month maternity cover. You will own monthly reporting, compliance, controls and lead a small finance team on site.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage group reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory audits and drive continuous process improvements to support business performance and timely decision making.

Qualifications

Qualified finance professional with leadership experience.
ACCA or CIMA preferred.
Strong IFRS knowledge.
Experience in multi-entity/group reporting.
Experience managing finance staff.
Advanced Excel and reporting.
Experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs for senior leadership.
Manage monthly group reporting submissions and liaise with Group Finance.
Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and planning.
Lead the annual statutory audit process with external auditors.
Oversee financial controls, process documentation, and internal audit compliance.
Monitor payroll and pension submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Lead, develop, and mentor a small finance team.
