Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Limited is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to own statutory reporting, audit delivery and technical accounting across a complex, multi-entity group. The role will also drive improvements to reporting processes and collaborate with teams across the wider finance function.

The successful candidate will have ACA/ACCA qualification with strong experience in statutory accounts, audit, IFRS knowledge and a proactive mindset for automation and process

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA with experience in statutory accounts and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS and UK reporting standards.
• Proven experience with audit processes and external reporting.
• Proactive mindset towards process improvement, automation and AI.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts across multiple entities.
• Manage the external audit process, coordinating information and deadlines.
• Support Group reporting, consolidation and technical accounting requirements.
• Lead the reporting integration of newly acquired businesses into the wider Group.
• Partner with Management Accounts, Tax, Treasury and wider finance teams to resolve reporting issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve, automate and streamline existing reporting processes.
