Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to own statutory reporting, audit delivery and technical accounting across a complex, multi-entity group. The role supports integration of newly acquired businesses and drives improvements to reporting processes.

You will collaborate with Group reporting, consolidation and technical accounting teams, and work with wider finance colleagues to resolve issues and implement automation and AI solutions.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification required.
• Strong experience in statutory accounts, audit and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS and UK accounting standards.
• Proactive mindset towards process improvement, automation and AI.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts across multiple entities.
• Manage external audit process, coordinating information and deadlines.
• Support Group reporting, consolidation and technical accounting.
• Lead reporting integration of newly acquired businesses into the Group.
• Partner with Management Accounts, Tax, Treasury to resolve reporting issues.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes.
