Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting and statutory accounts.
• Strong IFRS and technical accounting expertise.
• Experience producing complex consolidated financial statements.
• Background in banking, investment management or similarly regulated environment.
• Experience managing external audits.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and influence senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production of statutory and interim financial statements across a group of entities.
• Act as the subject matter expert on IFRS and technical accounting matters.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and oversee the audit process.
• Ensure robust financial governance, controls and compliance standards are maintained.
• Oversee financial asset and liability reporting, including IFRS 9 assessments and documentation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and audit trails.
• Support the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide technical accounting guidance and support.
