Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting an experienced Finance Manager to lead a key area of the finance function in a multi-entity business undergoing change. You will ensure accounting integrity, robust controls, and high-quality financial reporting to support decisions.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with professional certification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Experience leading finance teams and improving processes.
• Strong reporting and financial control capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a finance transactional team delivering cash flow management, capital activities and accounts payable.
• Ensuring month end, quarter end and year end activities are completed accurately.
• Owning balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger integrity.
• Strengthening controls and ensuring policy and standards compliance.
• Reviewing data, identifying risks and driving corrective actions.
• Supporting audits and acting as a key contact for financial control matters.
• Partnering with stakeholders to improve understanding and support decision-making.
• Drive process improvements, standardisation and automation to increase efficiency.
• Support wider finance transformation including system upgrades.
