Job summary

Sotalent in Livingston, UK, is seeking a motivated finance professional to join the Financial Reporting & Control team on a hybrid basis. You will contribute to monthly reporting, regulatory and statutory reporting, and maintain strong financial controls while supporting business decision-making.

The role offers exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and governance activities within a collaborative finance environment, building experience across reporting, audits, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and month-end close processes.
• Ability to analyse financial data and communicate insights clearly.
• Experience in financial reporting and reporting controls is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet reviews, and management reporting.
• Prepare commentaries and insights on key drivers of performance.
• Assist in statutory/regulatory reporting and audits.
• Maintain robust financial controls and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with auditors and internal stakeholders to improve processes.
