Sky in Livingston is seeking a Financial Controller to join the A2R Leadership Team. You will drive close processes, balance sheet controls and insightful reporting to influence business decisions.

The role requires someone who can lead, develop the team and partner with key stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial information. The position offers hybrid working with 2 office days per week in Livingston, and a strong focus on governance, controls and continuous improvement across the

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with leadership experience
• Strong ability to deliver high-quality financial reporting and insightful analysis
• Experience with SAP and financial reporting tools
• Ability to simplify, streamline and automate finance processes

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end close with complete and accurate P&L and balance sheet positions
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and remediate aged or unsupported balances
• Review actual results, understand business drivers and provide clear commentary to stakeholders
• Review complex accounting matters, journals, accruals, provisions, capitalization and intercompany activity
• Own or oversee financial controls and support audits and remediation of control findings
• Lead and develop the finance team, assign responsibilities and ensure deadlines are met
• Collaborate with Commercial Finance, Finance Operations and Group Reporting to resolve issues
• Drive process improvements, simplification and automation across finance processes
• Provide final sign-off for key accounting activities and escalate issues early
