Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is seeking a Resource Planning Coordinator to join our Scheduling Team in Manchester. You will coordinate field engineering resources across a 24/7 operation, ensuring the right support at the right time while meeting service levels and business objectives.

You will start office-based during training (Mon-Fri 08:00-16:30) with transition to a 40-hour rotating 24/7 shift pattern. Hybrid working may be available after training, subject to business needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate field engineer appointments and service visits.
• Monitor engineer availability and optimise resource utilisation.
• Manage emergency, priority and escalated service requests.
• Liaise with customers, engineers, partners and internal teams.
• Monitor work queues and service delivery performance.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and minimise service delays.
• Maintain accurate records within scheduling and workforce management systems.
• Support operational reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
