Benenden Health in York is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer for a 9-month fixed-term contract. The role combines advisory duties with hands-on monitoring, policy maintenance and reporting, within a FCA-regulated environment.

Hybrid working with 2 days in the office and 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will have solid experience in ICOBS and an ability to deliver risk-based guidance across multiple projects.

Formación

• Proven FCA regulatory compliance experience.
• Experience in financial services, preferably general insurance.
• Strong risk-based advisory and monitoring capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day compliance advice to colleagues and support business activities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement required changes across the business.
• Review financial promotions and customer communications for regulatory compliance.
• Deliver compliance monitoring, controls testing, and file sampling per the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
• Support risk assessments, control reviews and wider compliance assurance activities.
• Produce governance reports and management information for committees.
• Build effective stakeholder relationships to strengthen compliance processes.
