Job summary

AXA UK in Leeds is seeking an experienced Conduct and Compliance specialist to ensure effective mechanisms for managing conduct risk and delivering fair customer outcomes. You will advise on complex compliance matters, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and influence change across the organisation.

The role supports regulatory reporting, responds to investigations, and works with FCA/PRA guidelines within a hybrid work model balancing office and home based arrangements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of FCA requirements and expectations for customer outcomes.
• Deep understanding of conduct regimes (pricing, products, value).
• Experience in customer outcomes testing, QA, and reviews.
• Analytical ability to interpret data and present findings clearly.
• Delivery-focused, able to work at pace and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience supporting strategic change and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to embed conduct risk management by design through projects and processes.
• Provide expert advice to senior stakeholders on complex compliance matters.
• Influence initiatives to ensure fair customer outcomes within conduct risk appetite.
• Analyse regulatory changes and guide impact on the business.
• Support regulatory and conduct-related actions and assurance activities.
• Participate in FCA/PRA consultations and risk management within these frameworks.
• Assist in regulatory reporting and information requests.
• Build relationships; facilitate knowledge transfer and healthy challenge.
