Job summary

Orion Electrotech in Portsmouth is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive growth across the UK and European markets. You will develop strategies, grow distribution networks, and build strong customer relationships across international territories.

The role offers a competitive £60,000–£80,000 salary, commission, pension, and hybrid working. You will lead growth across UK and European territories, travel internationally as needed, and work closely with marketing to boost market share.

Qualifications

• Must have proven sales/business development in Power Utilities or Industrial sectors.
• Experience selling integrated hardware/software or SaaS/app-based products.
• Strong track record in building and managing distribution partners.
• Excellent business development, account management and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies across the UK and Europe.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities and key accounts.
• Manage and grow distribution partner networks across Europe.
• Promote integrated hardware, software and remote monitoring solutions.
• Represent the business at trade shows and customer demonstrations.
• Collaborate with marketing to support growth and engagement.
• Maintain CRM records and sales forecasts.
• Monitor performance against targets and revenue objectives.
• Negotiate commercial agreements while sustaining long-term relationships.
