Job summary

Energy Jobline is recruiting an Environmental Advisor for the Sizewell C project in Suffolk. The role offers a strong hybrid pattern: three days on site and two days working from home, with a £40,000 salary.

You’ll work with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to manage environmental risk and ensure high standards across the project. You’ll have relevant environmental qualifications, knowledge of UK environmental legislation and experience in inspections or audits.

Qualifications

• Relevant environmental qualification or degree.
• Good knowledge of UK environmental legislation.
• Experience carrying out environmental inspections or audits.
• Confidence working with site teams and contractors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out environmental inspections and audits.
• Support compliance with environmental legislation, permits and project requirements.
• Advise site and project teams on environmental risks and controls.
• Support pollution prevention and environmental incident investigations.
• Monitor waste management and resource efficiency.
• Support environmental management systems and procedures.
• Review environmental plans, assessments and documentation.
• Work with contractors to improve environmental performance.
• Support areas such as water management, ecology, noise, dust and waste.
• Identify environmental risks and ensure actions are followed through.
