Job summary

Southern Water is seeking an Environmental Advisor for their Falmer, East Sussex-based role with hybrid working (2 days per week) and occasional travel across the network. The role focuses on managing environmental risk from design to construction within a large capital programme, advising on diverse environmental topics with support from specialists.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in environmental assessment, a degree in a relevant field, strong communication skills, and experience

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental discipline required.
• 4+ years in an environmental assessment role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience building relationships with Local Authorities, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Producing clear, accurate reports with evidence-based conclusions.
