Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Scotland is seeking an Environmental Advisor to support a long-term infrastructure framework. You’ll visit live civils and utilities projects, identify environmental risks and work with site teams to implement practical controls, reflecting ISO 14001 expectations.

This hybrid role offers up to £50,000 salary, a car allowance or company car, pension, 28 days leave, private medical cover, and dedicated CPD support to help your career develop.

Qualifications

• Environmental experience in construction, civils, utilities, water or infrastructure.
• Environmental qualification or related degree is required.
• Understanding of environmental legislation, management systems and risk assessment.
• IEMA membership or progress towards it is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Visit projects to identify environmental risks, advise site teams and help implement workable controls.
• Carry out inspections and audits, support ISO 14001 compliance, and guide teams on waste management and environmental performance.
• Investigate incidents, agree corrective actions, deliver environmental briefings and collaborate with client, regulators and supply chain partners.
