Job summary

Safety Talent Limited is seeking an Environmental Advisor for the Sizewell C project in Suffolk. The role blends on-site oversight with strong compliance and stakeholder collaboration.

Carry out inspections, advise on controls, support waste and water management, and help sustain high environmental standards across major infrastructure works. The position offers a hybrid pattern with three days on site and two days remote, plus a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out environmental inspections or audits.
• Good knowledge of UK environmental legislation.
• Confidence working with site teams and contractors.
• IEMA membership or progress towards professional membership would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out environmental inspections and audits
• Supporting compliance with environmental legislation, permits and project requirements
• Advising site and project teams on environmental risks and controls
• Supporting pollution prevention and environmental incident investigations
• Monitoring waste management and resource efficiency
• Supporting environmental management systems and procedures
• Reviewing environmental plans, assessments and documentation
• Working with contractors to improve environmental performance
• Supporting areas such as water management, ecology, noise, dust and waste
• Identifying environmental risks and ensuring actions are followed through
