Job summary

Safran UK is seeking an Engineering Talent Acquisition Specialist to focus on engineering roles across the UK, with a hybrid pattern and a base in the South West (Gloucester or Cwmbran) requiring at least one day on site.

The role involves delivering strategic, high-quality hires, building talent pipelines, partnering with business leaders, and ensuring a positive candidate experience across approximately 50 hires per year.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment within an agency or in-house setting with a focus on Technical, Engineering and Research and Development roles.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence hiring decisions at all levels.
• Efficient, with great organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies, projects, and priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proactive, transparent and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• Ability to use recruitment data and market insights to improve hiring outcomes and optimise processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for approximately 50 hires per year, ensuring smooth coordination, timely communication, and a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
• Manage the full recruitment process from vacancy approval through to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and agree recruitment plans.
• Build strong talent pipelines through targeted sourcing, networking, and employer branding initiatives.
• Act as a subject matter expert for recruitment within your perimeter, providing insights on market trends, sourcing strategies, and candidate experience enhancements.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of data in our ATS for requisitions, reporting, and candidate communications.
