Job summary

MBDA is seeking a design support engineer in Bolton to interface with manufacturing and deliver knowledge and support across product lines.

You will work on analogue and digital electronics, tackling design challenges while growing your skills in related areas and collaborating with stakeholders for successful outcomes. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering in a dynamic environment with opportunities for personal and technical development.

Qualifications

• Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience of designing product/systems.
• Experience in designing analogue and digital electronics.
• Experience supporting designs through the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.
• Ability to work autonomously, lead your work, and engage with stakeholders to ensure delivery.

Responsibilities

• Act as part of the design team and main interface to manufacturing to provide knowledge and support.
• Tackle engineering challenges in core discipline(s) and grow in other areas.
• Help shape designs to deliver support to customers in the manufacturing environment.
