Zusammenfassung

MBDA is seeking a systems-focused Electronic Systems Engineer to lead and support the design, integration and deployment of complex electronic systems. You will own system-level electronic design, define architectures, and break down subsystems into clear functions and interfaces.

Work is hybrid with on-site days 2–3 per week; the role requires UK security clearance and collaboration across mechanical, firmware, software and manufacturing teams to ensure safe, compliant and robust solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong experience in system-level electronic design and integration.
• Proven ability to define equipment architectures, interconnects, and interfaces.
• Solid understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
• Ability to read and produce system schematics, wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience with systems design tools (e.g. DOORS, Rhapsody, MATLAB Simulink).

Aufgaben

• Lead system-level electronic design from concept through to production and deployment.
• Define architectures and manage interconnects between subsystems.
• Create high-quality system schematics, wiring diagrams, and interface control documents.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, software and manufacturing teams for seamless integration.
• Conduct validation, root‑cause analysis, and ensure safety, EMC, and regulatory compliance.
