Job summary
MBDA UK in Bolton is seeking an Electronics Engineer to service electrical and electronic test equipment used in the manufacturing of complex missile systems. You will calibrate, commission and support test equipment across stages of product assembly, working with a skilled team to resolve routine and non-routine tasks.
The role requires HNC/HND in engineering and experience with calibration principles; SAP familiarity is desirable, and you may mentor junior staff.
Qualifications
- HNC/HND in engineering or equivalent.
- Experience calibrating test equipment and maintaining test systems to component level.
- Ability to interpret instructions, drawings or specs to provide technical guidance and perform measurements/repairs.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate and support special test equipment across manufacturing.
- Assist fault finding, commissioning, drift analysis and repairs of test systems.
- Support multiple tasks and priorities within the team.
- Collaborate with engineering and support functions to improve test platforms.
