Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a hybrid role in Bury St Edmunds. You will design electricity distribution networks, perform network demand/export calculations, and support new connections and low carbon technology applications.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electricity distribution networks.
• Ability to work to electrical standards and safety legislation.
• Eligible to work in the UK and driving licence may be required.

Responsabilités

• Permanent role with hybrid working in a large national utilities infrastructure business.
• Electrical design and technical support for new connections and LCT connections on existing supplies.
• Network demand/export calculations and point of connection (POC) design.
• Liaison with DNOs, ICPs and internal departments; peer design approvals within authorisation limits.

Formation

Technical engineering qualification (Level 2 City & Guilds or equivalent)
