Job summary

National Grid Electricity Distribution is seeking a Grade 4 Network Planner for the Alfreton depot. You will design and support network projects, coordinating with engineers to construct, reinforce, or replace assets.

The role offers a mix of office and home working after initial training and is based in the Chesterfield & Mansfield area. We value strong communication, organisation, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with customers and stakeholders.
• Full UK driving licence and mobility across the area.
• Level 2 City & Guilds 2339 qualification and TAR training required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver services/alterations/small capital projects.
• Carry out onsite meetings with customers and stakeholders.
• Work with wayleaves/estates to obtain third-party agreements.
• Financially review and close projects.
• Schedule contracted works and manage queries from customers.
• Communicate with local authorities and external stakeholders.
