Job summary

Assystem in the United Kingdom is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) department to support the design and delivery of SMR nuclear power plants. You will coordinate projects across EC&I and lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety-critical systems are delivered on time and within budget.

With a strong background in EC&I and experience managing complex programmes, you will drive technical programmes, risk and resource planning, and budget

Qualifications

• EC&I design and program management experience.
• Experience leading safety-critical programmes.
• Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation/Control Engineering; advanced degrees a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop Technical Programmes for EC&I across product lifecycle.
• Plan tasks with dependencies across work areas.
• Foster collaboration to deliver integrated EC&I solutions.
• Monitor scope and adjust programme budgets.
• Identify resource gaps and assist in resourcing strategies.
• Develop and maintain budgets for EC&I programmes.
• Track costs vs. projections and manage variances.
• Risk management for programme threats and opportunities.
• Oversee contract staff allocation and performance.
